Towards supersymmetric cosmology in M–theory
نویسنده
چکیده
We present a new solution in the heterotic M–theory in which the metric depends on (cosmic) time. The solution preserves N = 1 supersymmetry in 4 dimensions in the leading order of the κ2/3 expansion. It is the first example of the time–dependent supersymmetric solution in M–theory on S/ZZ2. It describes expanding 4–dimensional space–time with shrinking orientifold interval and static Calabi–Yau internal space.

Supersymmetric Q-balls: theory and cosmology
MSSM predicts the existence of Q-balls, some of which can be entirely stable. Both stable and unstable Q-balls can play an important role in cosmology. In particular, Affleck–Dine baryogenesis can result in a copious production of stable baryonic Q-balls, which can presently exist as a form of dark matter. متن کاملThinking Towards Peace: On Triades and New Cosmology of the Mesocosm
This paper has three parts. In the first part, we bring to the fore an ancient Vedic concept of mesocosm and discuss its religious and cosmic significance within Indian religion. This part also brings an initial approach towards philosophy of spirituality by focusing on the role of breath within the very concept of mesocosm. In the second part, based on our preliminary analysis, we present an o...
متن کاملString Theory and Hybrid Inflation/Acceleration
We find a description of hybrid inflation in (3+1)-dimensions using brane dynamics of Hanany-Witten type. P-term inflation/acceleration of the universe with the hybrid potential has a slow-roll de Sitter stage and a waterfall stage which leads towards an N = 2 supersymmetric ground state. We identify the slow-roll stage of inflation with a non-supersymmetric ‘Coulomb phase’ with Fayet-Iliopoulo...
متن کاملAxions in Gauge Mediation
In supersymmetric theories, the presence of axions usually implies the existence of a non-compact, (pseudo)moduli space. In gauge mediated models, the axion would seem a particularly promising dark matter candidate. The cosmology of the moduli then constrains the gravitino mass and the axion decay constant; the former can’t be much below 10 MeV; the latter can’t be much larger than 10 GeV. Axin...
متن کاملPhenomenology of the nMSSM from colliders to cosmology
Low energy supersymmetric models provide a solution to the hierarchy problem and also have the necessary ingredients to solve two of the most outstanding issues in cosmology: the origin of dark matter and baryonic matter. One of the most attractive features of this framework is that the relevant physical processes are related to interactions at the weak scale and therefore may be tested in coll...
